As generative AI, edge computing, zero-trust security, and data sovereignty regulations reshape enterprise technology landscapes, we are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to define and execute long-horizon technology strategy, engineering governance, platform scalability, and innovation investment frameworks, fully remote within the United States.

This is not a system oversight role. This is a transformational enterprise technology mandate.

Job Function

The Chief Technology Officer will architect enterprise-wide technology direction across AI platforms, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity architecture, data governance, engineering execution frameworks, and next-generation product innovation.

The CTO ensures scalable, secure, and future-ready technical ecosystems supporting sustained enterprise growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year enterprise technology strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives

• Lead global engineering and architecture organizations across software, AI/ML, infrastructure, and security

• Establish long-term platform architecture and scalability standards

• Oversee AI innovation, R&D investment prioritization, and emerging technology evaluation

• Implement secure-by-design cybersecurity frameworks and governance

• Guide cloud transformation and hybrid infrastructure modernization initiatives

• Align product engineering with market expansion and revenue strategy

• Oversee technology capital allocation and multi-million-dollar R&D budgeting

• Strengthen DevOps, automation, and engineering productivity frameworks

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and data sovereignty standards

• Present the technology roadmap and risk posture to executive leadership and the Board

• Develop executive-level engineering succession and leadership pipelines

Strategic Support

• Advise the CEO and Board on long-term digital transformation and innovation positioning

• Support expansion into new domestic and global enterprise markets

• Contribute to M&A technology due diligence and integration planning

• Align technology investments with institutional investor expectations

• Guide ESG-aligned technology initiatives, including energy-efficient infrastructure

• Strengthen enterprise intellectual property strategy and innovation portfolio

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• 20+ years of progressive technology leadership experience

• 10+ years in executive roles within enterprise SaaS, AI platforms, cloud infrastructure, or advanced technology ecosystems

• Proven track record scaling global engineering organizations

• Deep expertise in AI/ML architecture, cloud-native systems, and cybersecurity governance

• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale enterprise technology platforms

• Strong financial acumen in R&D capital allocation and ROI governance

• Experience operating in regulated, mission-critical industries

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced technical or business degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $330,000 – $450,000 USD
