We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to support data accuracy initiatives across clinical, operational, and administrative datasets within our healthcare analytics platform.

This is not simply a typing role. This position plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of critical healthcare data systems used by hospitals, research organizations, and healthcare professionals.


Job Function

The Data Entry Assistant will support healthcare data operations by accurately entering, verifying, organizing, and maintaining digital records within secure healthcare information systems and enterprise databases.

The role ensures high standards of data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within healthcare data environments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter healthcare-related data into enterprise database systems and digital record platforms.

  • Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing multiple source documents and digital records.

  • Review and correct inconsistencies in patient information, billing data, clinical records, and administrative datasets.

  • Maintain data quality standards by performing routine validation and error-checking processes.

  • Organize digital documentation and ensure proper classification within database systems.

  • Assist in updating patient records, clinical research data, and administrative healthcare information.

  • Support data migration and system updates during digital platform enhancements.

  • Maintain strict adherence to healthcare privacy regulations and internal data security policies.

  • Generate basic reports summarizing data entry accuracy and processing volumes.

  • Collaborate with healthcare data analysts and operations teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparing datasets used for healthcare analytics, reporting, and compliance audits.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security when handling sensitive medical information.


Strategic Support

  • Support the organization’s healthcare analytics initiatives by ensuring accurate foundational datasets.

  • Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance with healthcare data standards and privacy regulations.

  • Contribute to operational efficiency by improving data entry workflows and digital documentation processes.

  • Support digital transformation initiatives involving electronic medical record systems.

  • Help maintain high-quality datasets used for clinical research and healthcare analytics.

  • Assist with quality control processes during large-scale healthcare data integration projects.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or database management roles.

  • Experience working with digital record systems or database platforms preferred.

  • Strong typing accuracy and data entry speed with close attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, database tools, or electronic record systems.

  • Ability to manage and organize large volumes of information with accuracy.

  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and data privacy practices.

  • Experience within healthcare, insurance, research, or administrative environments preferred.

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $100,000 – $195,000 USD

Compensation Includes:
