Effective project governance, disciplined execution frameworks, and strategic program oversight are essential to maintaining delivery excellence and long-term client trust.

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Project Management to lead the enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), oversee strategic transformation programs, and ensure delivery excellence across complex, high-impact initiatives.

This is not a traditional project management role. This is a strategic program leadership mandate responsible for enterprise-wide execution governance.


Job Function

The Director of Project Management will lead enterprise program governance, oversee global project portfolios, and establish execution frameworks that ensure large-scale transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

This executive will drive operational discipline across cross-functional teams while strengthening the organization’s project management capabilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), establishing governance frameworks for global programs and initiatives.

  • Oversee large-scale digital transformation projects including cloud modernization, AI integration, and enterprise software deployments.

  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, governance standards, and performance monitoring systems.

  • Establish enterprise program dashboards tracking project milestones, budget adherence, risk exposure, and delivery timelines.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams involving engineering, product development, operations, and external consulting partners.

  • Implement structured risk management frameworks, ensuring early identification and mitigation of program risks.

  • Align project portfolios with corporate strategy and organizational priorities.

  • Oversee multi-million-dollar program budgets and resource allocation across project teams.

  • Drive operational efficiency through standardized project execution methodologies and performance optimization.

  • Support new product development and enterprise technology deployments through structured program oversight.

  • Facilitate executive-level program reviews and governance meetings.

  • Present project portfolio performance insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and Board stakeholders.

  • Mentor and develop high-performing project managers and program leaders across global teams.


Strategic Support

  • Advise COO and executive leadership on enterprise program governance and delivery performance optimization.

  • Support major corporate transformation initiatives, including digital modernization and operational restructuring.

  • Guide M&A integration projects by aligning operational processes and technology platforms.

  • Strengthen enterprise capability for executing complex global initiatives.

  • Align project management frameworks with organizational growth strategy and operational scalability.

  • Contribute to long-term operational planning and transformation roadmaps.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in project management, program management, or transformation leadership roles.

  • 7+ years managing enterprise-scale project portfolios in technology, consulting, or digital transformation environments.

  • Demonstrated success leading PMOs and managing complex, multi-million-dollar global programs.

  • Deep expertise in project governance frameworks, risk management methodologies, and performance tracking systems.

  • Strong experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operational functions.

  • Proven ability to communicate program performance and strategic insights to executive leadership.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent are strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote – United States

  • Periodic domestic and international travel for executive planning sessions, project reviews, and strategic initiatives (25–35%)

  • High-accountability role tied to project delivery performance and enterprise transformation outcomes

  • Executive-level visibility across operations, technology, and leadership teams

  • Collaboration across global cross-functional teams and external partners


Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $355,000 – $440,000 USD
