We are seeking a high-impact Director of Strategic Sales to lead national strategic account penetration, complex enterprise deal orchestration, and long-horizon revenue expansion initiatives, fully remote within the United States.

This is not a regional sales role. This is a strategic enterprise growth mandate focused on high-value accounts and transformational partnerships.


Job Function

The Director of Strategic Sales will oversee top-tier enterprise account strategy, complex multi-million-dollar deal pursuit, executive relationship development, vertical expansion initiatives, and long-term contract growth across AI and cloud infrastructure markets.

This leader ensures predictable revenue growth, disciplined forecasting, and high-value enterprise penetration.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a national strategic sales strategy targeting Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises

  • Lead complex, multi-year enterprise AI platform negotiations

  • Develop executive-level relationships across CIO, CTO, CDO, and Board stakeholders

  • Architect account-based selling frameworks for high-value strategic accounts

  • Oversee enterprise pipeline governance and forecasting discipline

  • Align product innovation and AI capabilities with vertical-specific use cases

  • Guide pricing strategy and enterprise contract structuring

  • Implement KPI dashboards tracking deal size, win rate, pipeline velocity, and strategic account growth

  • Strengthen collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations teams

  • Represent the organization at executive forums, industry summits, and enterprise briefings

  • Mentor senior account executives and enterprise sales leaders

  • Present strategic revenue forecasts and growth performance updates to executive leadership


Strategic Support

  • Advise CRO on long-term vertical expansion and global market penetration strategy

  • Contribute to M&A growth initiatives and enterprise portfolio alignment

  • Support international expansion initiatives across regulated markets

  • Align sales execution with investor-facing growth narrative

  • Guide digital transformation initiatives within enterprise sales enablement platforms

  • Strengthen competitive intelligence and strategic positioning within evolving AI markets


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive enterprise sales leadership experience

  • 7+ years within enterprise SaaS, AI platforms, cloud infrastructure, or advanced technology sectors

  • Proven track record closing multi-million to nine-figure enterprise agreements

  • Strong expertise in strategic account planning and executive-level selling

  • Experience scaling revenue across high-growth technology environments

  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed national sales teams

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred

Working Conditions

  • Fully Remote – United States

  • Frequent domestic travel for enterprise client engagement and executive strategy sessions (30–40%)

  • High-accountability role tied to ARR growth, strategic account penetration, and deal conversion KPIs

  • Executive-level visibility within commercial leadership

  • Collaboration across distributed global Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams


Compensation & Benefits

Total Executive Compensation Package: $320,000 – $430,000 USD
