As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, to lead global M&A strategy, strategic partnerships, and investment initiatives. This executive will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact transactions while working closely with executive leadership and portfolio companies.
The SVP will operate as a key advisor to the CEO and board, shaping the organization’s growth strategy and driving initiatives that enhance enterprise value across a global portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and execute the organization’s global corporate development strategy, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, target companies, and market expansion initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end M&A processes, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and deal execution.
• Develop and manage relationships with investment banks, advisors, private equity firms, and strategic partners.
• Drive post-merger integration efforts to ensure operational alignment, synergy realization, and value creation.
• Partner with executive leadership to align corporate development initiatives with long-term business strategy and growth objectives.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities.
• Lead capital allocation strategies, including portfolio optimization and investment prioritization.
• Oversee preparation of investment memos, board presentations, and executive-level reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to manage transaction risks and compliance requirements.
• Support fundraising initiatives and investor relations activities where applicable.
• Build and lead a high-performing corporate development team across multiple regions.
• Provide strategic guidance on partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry strategies.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 15–20+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance roles.
• Proven track record of leading complex M&A transactions and strategic investment initiatives.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Experience managing global transactions across multiple industries and geographies.
• Deep understanding of capital markets, investment strategies, and corporate finance principles.
• Strong network within the investment community, including banks, funds, and advisors.
