We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Information Technology to lead global IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations across our investment banking and capital markets platforms. This executive will oversee the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide technology systems that support trading, risk management, client services, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting directly to the CIO, the SVP will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s technology roadmap, ensuring operational excellence, and driving innovation across a complex global environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the organization’s global IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across investment banking, trading, and financial services operations.

• Oversee enterprise-wide technology infrastructure, including trading platforms, market data systems, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.

• Drive modernization of legacy systems through cloud adoption, microservices architecture, and platform engineering practices.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of mission-critical systems supporting real-time trading and financial transactions.

• Establish and maintain robust IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks aligned with financial regulations.

• Partner with cybersecurity leadership to strengthen enterprise-wide security posture and data protection strategies.

• Lead large global teams responsible for infrastructure engineering, IT operations, application support, and enterprise architecture.

• Manage IT budgets, capital expenditures, and cost optimization initiatives across global operations.

• Oversee vendor relationships, including cloud providers, financial technology vendors, and enterprise software partners.

• Implement advanced IT service management (ITSM) frameworks to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with front-office, risk, and operations teams to support technology-driven innovation in trading and financial analytics.

• Provide executive-level reporting on IT performance, risk, and transformation initiatives to senior leadership and board committees.

• Drive adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, and real-time data platforms.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• MBA or advanced degree in Technology or Business strongly preferred.

• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise IT, financial technology, or global infrastructure management.

• Proven experience leading large-scale IT organizations within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services environments.

• Deep expertise in low-latency systems, trading platforms, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.

• Strong understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance frameworks.

• Experience managing global teams and complex, mission-critical IT environments.

• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale technology transformation programs.

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar IT budgets.

• Experience working with executive leadership and presenting to board-level stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $350,000 – $485,000

Compensation includes:
