About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President, Risk Management, to lead enterprise risk strategy for a global financial services organization operating across digital banking, capital markets, and financial technology platforms. The company provides advanced financial services, digital payment systems, and risk management solutions to corporate clients and institutional investors across international markets.

The Senior Vice President, Risk Management, will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing the organization’s enterprise risk framework, regulatory compliance initiatives, and financial risk mitigation strategies. This role will ensure that the organization maintains strong governance structures while navigating increasingly complex global financial environments.

As financial institutions operate within rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes and global markets, strong risk management leadership is critical for maintaining operational stability and protecting corporate assets. The Senior Vice President, Risk Management, will guide enterprise programs designed to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with financial operations, technology systems, regulatory compliance, and global market exposure.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer, the Senior Vice President, Risk Management, will align risk management policies with corporate strategy and financial governance frameworks. This collaboration ensures that risk considerations are integrated into strategic planning, operational decision-making, and enterprise investment initiatives.

The SVP will oversee global teams responsible for enterprise risk assessment, operational risk management, financial risk monitoring, regulatory compliance oversight, and internal control programs. These teams will support the organization’s risk infrastructure by continuously monitoring potential exposures and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.

A major responsibility of the role involves strengthening enterprise risk frameworks that ensure consistent oversight across all business units and international operations. The Senior Vice President, Risk Management, will develop policies and systems that support risk transparency while enabling leadership teams to make informed strategic decisions.

The SVP will also lead initiatives focused on improving risk analytics capabilities. By integrating advanced risk monitoring technologies and predictive analytics tools, the organization will be able to identify emerging risks earlier and respond more effectively to potential threats.

• Develop and implement the organization’s enterprise risk management strategy aligned with corporate governance standards.

• Mentor senior risk management leaders responsible for regional operations.
• Present enterprise risk insights and governance reports to executive leadership and board committees.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• MBA, Master’s in Finance, or advanced degree in risk management preferred.
18–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in risk management or financial governance.
• Minimum 10+ years in senior leadership roles within financial services or banking institutions.
• Extensive experience managing enterprise risk frameworks across global organizations.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and regulatory compliance standards.
• Proven track record implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience managing risk in digital banking, financial services, or fintech environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities related to financial risk assessment and governance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing international risk management teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Package: $340,000 – $485,000
